Where can I go when every door is locked?
What if there’s nothing else?
We’re living in a box
Destiny scripted like we’re on TV
It’s controlling you and controlling me
Break free of the shackles, blur all the lines
Don’t think for a second that you must comply
Break free
Freedom isn’t free, that’s what we’re told
An idea bought
An idea sold
Sprinting through life like a race to the grave
Work our days away to make a living wage
Break free of the shackles, blur all the lines
Don’t think for a second that you must comply
Break Free
A world of mice on the wheel, when do we get off?
Why do we wait to live until we’re almost gone?
Live life for now, live before the last grain falls.
Live life for now, Expiration dates affixed to us all
Black is beautiful. Inside outside. This band is superb. As a huge Sabbath fan I love the low tuned riffs, as well as the hardcore speed moments, short as they are: but it's exactly that which keeps it so damn interesting. Also love the interplays full of sweetness or speeches about black culture and being black within white domination. Still some things to learn. This is the real life in music form. Let's celebrate. Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
